Cronos is the story of an old antique dealer named Jesus Gris (Frederico Luppi) who stumbles upon a relic. This relic is revealed to be the creation of a 16th century alchemist and when it is opened, it stabs the beholder. With this attack comes the great benefit of eternal life, but also the curse of having a thirst for blood much like a vampire. When news of this antique spreads a rapidly dying businessman (Claudio Brook) and his nephew (Ron Perlman) seek it out. They pursue the artifact relentlessly and try to attain it any cost, including the lives of all involved. Whoever holds this artifact has immense power and will do anything to preserve it.
